The repair was great and the people were friendly and helpful. I docked one star because of the lack of communication. The repair took longer than expected which happens, but I had to reach out at the end of each day to get an update on whether or not I would be able to retrieve my vehicle. I would expect that the dealership would let me know the status, especially if they know the repair will not be finished due to someone calling in sick, part expected but not delivered, etc..

Carlos did a great job of keeping me informed on service updates, was polite and precise. Dan & Max also did a great job servicing my vehicle and being detailed in the inspection videos. Jacob was also extremely polite, greeted me promptly and helped pull my car into the service lane. Always above and beyond service at Bergstrom Chevrolet!

Fast friendly service

I had been having intermittent "Service Vehicle Soon" messages associated with failure of the variable power steering unit. Whenever I would bring it in for a diagnostic, the problem was not evident and trouble code not thrown. Finally, upon driving it after leaving the Corvette overnight with service, the "dreaded" message again was displayed and the trouble code found. I applaud the service tech for using all available methods to unearth the problem, which turned out to be a wire that was making intermittent contact. Problem solved, steering back to normal, and Bergstrom again managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat and correct my problem. Their service goes above and beyond what might be expected.

This vehicle was brought in for a thermostat replacement. The advisor (Carlos Enamorado) called me at 12:45 PM and quoted an estimated repair cost for this replacement. Carlos said the “book” estimated 5.25 hours in labor for replacement of this thermostat at a labor cost of over $900. I asked him what they charge for labor on an hourly basis. He quoted approximately $180 per hour. I was contacted via telephone by Carlos at 3:16 PM and informed my repair was completed and my vehicle was ready for pickup. This was approximately two hours - 30 minutes after giving permission to complete the repair. When picking up the vehicle and paying my bill I noticed a labor charge of $963.54 (not including parts) for this repair. I asked Carlos if I was charged the so-called “book” estimated labor time or the actual time the mechanic needed to replace this thermostat. He indicated I was charged the estimated “book” time for the repair. This was after he had previously quoted an estimated hourly rate of $180 per hour for maintenance work. Based on the incoming call times recorded in my phone, I would estimate this repair took less than two hours and thirty minutes for this mechanic to complete. Labor for this repair should not have exceeded $450. Instead I was charged over $960, which is over twice the cost I should have been charged. The estimated hourly rate I was charged for this repair exceeded $380 per hour which is $200 per hour higher than what Carlos had previously quoted as the dealership’s hourly rate for maintenance repair. This is price gouging to the N-th degree. When I spoke to one of the Managers about my concerns, I received a response that could be summed-up as “too bad, that’s how we conduct business”. Long story short, I can’t be any more dissatisfied as to how I was treated at this business. I had previously purchased a new Cadillac from this dealership last June for my wife and I will do everything in my power to not use Bergstrom Automotive for future purchases and repairs. I'm disappointed with the service. I experienced problems with the truck not even a month after I bought it and the only issue covered under warranty was the seal for the oil. I understand the other issues weren't under warranty but I would've thought there could've been more done to fix the vehicle being I just purchased it. I was told that I could've had it bought back from bergstrom but when I brought the loaner back I was told that the market crashed and there was nothing that could be done to help me with this matter. I'm very disappointed and the family member that referred me to your dealership is very disappointed as well. She bought her last 5 vehicles from bergstrom and will never buy another vehicle from there again. I won't recommend bergstrom to anyone.

I arrived before my appointed time and the adviser at the service department directed me to the quick lube because it would be faster. He was right about that. They got my car in shortly after I arrived and I would say with in 20 minutes I was on my way home. I was very pleased with the speed of the service. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that I thought that I had more free oil changes let but this time I had to pay for it.

I regularly schedule an oil change and tire rotation and generally wait for my vehicle to be completed. I just don't understand why it takes 2 hours to do a tire rotation and oil change when I can go next door to the dealership express lube and they can perform the same service in 20 minutes. In addition, the Express Lube gives me a color copy of the diagnostic vs. a black & white copy from the Service Bay. What is the point of scheduling? I surely don't understand it.

The experience that I have with Brookstone is from the time that you step in the door from the appearance of the dealership to the friendship and the professional people it is such a treat to be treated so wonderful and so knowledgeable by all staff, but specially by the person that is in charge of making sure that you’re there to answer all your questions And to help you from step one to the final destination of getting in your new vehicle and driving away and it doesn’t end there. You can drive back two days later and ask the stupidest question and they don’t make you feel foolish. They treat you like it’s the first time you’re asking that questionand make you so comfortable. It’s the first place that I’ve ever felt so great. They’re the best.

Besides breaking more parts on the car while fixing resulting in three times the final bill, they lost my car for over an hour after payment was made saying they were backed up at the carwash, then blaming a new employee that "didn't know how we do things around here". I left a message for service manager to call me after July 2nd disaster but no one ever did. I will take this up with the Bergstom College Ave. owners next week.

Good job keeping me updated on repair and making sure repair done correctly.

Several years back my wife's vehicle was a quart over filled. I could hear the workers comment on about. When my car was brought around, I checked it and it was. Haven't been back in years. Yesterday I thought id try again. First concern was seeing my truck tip Several inches to the drivers side when letting it down from 5-6'. One individual yelled, stopped, went back up then lowered again. How does that happen unless the truck it self was hung up on something. Currently looking for the damage. Going to another shop to be put up in it's lift for inspection. Next going through inspection. Individual told me the tires were at 41PSI and lowered to the 35PSI recommended. First, that is a COLD tire pressure, I drove there and it was 88° yesterday. 2nd when I got i to my vehicle they were all at 41 PSI. The work he explained never happened and shouldn't have been done. Next I requested new windshield wipers. Also during inspection review. Individual told me windshield wipers were good according to the inspection but was charged for new windshield wipers. Is the inspection pencil whipped? Does the person at the desk who explains the inspection not have any communication or knowledge of vehicles? I am a Journeyman Millwright, raced dirt oval track and currently 1/4 mile dragrace. In my younger days I would in an auto shop. After what I saw and heard from both sides and the overfill issue from years back I'm TERRIFIED to bring my car back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I also wouldn't buy another car from Bergstrom know that's the type of service they have there. It's only a lube center but it reflects on the entire company weather you like it or not. Salesperson was great (Charlie) and the gentleman who went through vehicle was also great.

Bergstrom helped us find the car we wanted. The rep was respectful. However the car was still in Demo mode when we left with it. We could not get many of the functions working so a call to OnStar was made. They told us the vehicle should have gone through a registration and set up process before it left the lot. Our rep told us this happens sometimes and didn’t think it was a big deal. It was to us because many of the functions did not work.

Came to you for an oil change and I remembered that I thought the tires should be rotated. Didn’t understand the pressure sensors were working when I came in and were bad after rotation. Now I need another appointment and and 130.00 to fix what wasn’t broken when I came for service. Just wanted to use this opportunity to vent my frustration. It’s like every visit to service becomes more than expected. Now not sure where I should take the truck to get this fixed to avoid more problems.

Glove box was not put back in after 4 hours of service, they also did not take the radio out of demo mode or explain it to me. It wasn't until I got to MI and realized and spoke to a sales man at that location. The service manager did call me back. I got the radio fixed myself along with figuring out how to put my glove box back in so I didn't break it or have the papers all over my vehicle. Very disappointed that a check wasn't done before they actually gave me my car.

I had an unexpected tire issue which led me to arrive at the dealership without an appointment. After consulting with my representative, we determined the best way forward for my vehicle.

I think I'm being generous giving a three star rating. I have no issue with the guys in the shop. They did a great job. The communication was awesome and they got the work done quickly. Where I have heartburn is the parts. I can't believe a GM dealership, especially the size of Bergstrom, is using AFTERMARKET parts! One of the main reasons I have my vehicles repaired at a dealership is the expectation the work will be done using OEM parts. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to get a phone telling me you have my fuel tank laying on the shop floor, don't have an OEM fuel pump, but can install an AFTERMARKET pump instead! At that point, what choice do I have? You shouldn't have started the job if you didn't have the parts to fix it. And to add insult to injury, you charged me $565 for a part I can get at NAPA for $350. I get you need to make some money on the parts, but c'mon, that markup is outrageous! I've always trusted Bergstrom, but you've lost that trust. Needless to say, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

didn't even ask me if i wanted the new 0-40 oil that is now recommended by GM. they just put it in and charged me like $75 more for my oil change. when i questioned my bill he said i had to get that oil now per GM. Is that true.

Seamless process (booking online, drop off and pickup)

I had a great experience, staff was very friendly and helpful even though I was 10 minutes late for appointment. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I booked online from a coupon email I received. Tire rotation and oil change $80. My receipt did not reflect the savings.

Kara our sales representative was fantastic, she was a great help from start to finish. She answered all questions, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and made us feel very welcome. She is a true professional and her compassion for her work really shines. The finance and upper management group were great as well, no surprises and took the time to make sure we understood everything.

I needed a headlight bulb replaced on my 2019 Traverse. It took just under 5 hrs and I did not expect it to be that long. I requested the apt a day before and upon arrival and quick assessment I was told they did not have the Bulb instock so it would take 2-3 days to receive then rescedual for the replacement. An after market bulb from a local parts dealer was suggested so I agreed to have that installed instead. upon arrival it was discovered that it would not fit. I was then told they had found an "OEM" bulb and were shipping it to the current location. It was installed and I was on my way. I think a Main Dealer/service location should have simple parts like standard headlight bulbs in-stock. It should not take almost 5 hrs. With all the vehicles I have owned and the 5 Service visits over the years I have never had a good/smooth experience.

Kara was great. She even went out of her way and delivered the truck to my house and to take away my trade in. Since I had to watch the grand kids.

Erik Steffen was awesome to work with. He followed up and kept me in the loop even through a few minor hiccups. I will ask for him every time I get service done at Bergstrom.

I don’t think now would be a good time for me to do a survey regarding anything to do with Chevrolet. Overall Bergstrom service did a good job. However your estimates to do the work needed are outrageous and your charges for the partial work were ridiculous. Add to that the fee you added to the towing bill(actual cost was $300 and you marked it up to $430?) was a bit of taking advantage of me. But aside from paying $2000 for diagnostics and some disassembly, what really frustrates me is that a well cared for truck with only 80,000 miles has a known failure of GM’s design, and there is zero accountability from Chevrolet. In stead I’m told that’s just the way it is and you probably shouldn’t keep it that long anyway. 80,000 miles. Only 80,000 miles and I have to replace the engine if I want some sense of feeling like I have a reliable vehicle. I am curious to see if anyone reads this and actually does something about it.

The oil change and tire rotation went fine. while at the dealership I wanted to look at some new vehicles, but there are hardly any on the lot. that makes it difficult to browse and see what the new vehicles are all about and the different options available

I arrived for 1:30 appointment to have my battery replaced and it was finished at 2:00. Craig was very efficient, professional, and courteous. I feel the 3% charge to use my Visa was disappointing. Just charge more at the top for the service so that the fee doesn’t have to be applied. Bergstroms is too prestigious a corporation to be disappointing its customers with this fee.

Love the upgraded space and the Saturday hours. I am so much happier at the Appleton location than in Neenah. Thank you.

Brought my truck in for checking costs for tires and alignment. After doing a check of front axle, got a couple things wrong, but have NEVER heard of them working loose. Carlos does a great job explaining the who- how’s and the what-fors.

I got lucky the day I had my oil change- got in right away- my only suggestion is more of a detail-after testing my rear windsheild wipers- it left cleaner all over the rear gate of my vehicle. I declined the car wash before i saw that. pay attention to detail. It should have been wiped off so it didnt sit on the paint job. The price is getting pretty high- not sure if I can afford to do this at the dealership after waurentee is up.

They did a good job with the doors aligning them back up right and repainting the one spot, then getting the overspray off.

It took longer than expected. After calling to see my car status, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. This has happened several times. I’m sick of Jordan Love telling me that someone will be right with me. The saving grace was Jacob. A very courteous service rep who took care of me and made me forget my waiting problem. Give that man a raise!

Charlie Asman took care of my issue. I got a golfcart ride to look at some vehicles and got a free soda and cookie !

Came in for new tires. Everything was great till I got home. Realized the white walls were put out. And then realized I wasn't given my $50 gas card. Went back. Asked why I wasn't asked my preference. Was told mistakes happen. This paired with several past issues. Im done getting service and vehicles with bergstrom.

Told me all fluids were good except the windshield washer fluid and they said they filled it up but never did.

Everybody was very nice when setting up the appt and dropping off for service, but performance was lacking. I had to call 2-3 time in order to get the confirmation that you had the part for my truck in stock. That was a little frustrating. When the truck was in for the service I saw the report from the service tech and I did have some other maintenance repairs offered but with the timeframe I had I couldn't get it done. It took quite a while for me to get a response from the tech so I had to call the dealership which took over 20 minutes on the phone to decline the added work and finish my truck for pick up. The ride back was another delay. When requesting the ride back on your app it gave me a time that the driver would be there but when that time came and went I reached out to the number given and had to leave a voice message. Called the dealership, again, and it didn't should like the person even left yet. My ride back was over a half hour late picking me up.

Car wash detail left marks on truck. One of the complaints was right blinker light coming on. . . came on on the way home and now have to take it back in.

We had an 11:00 am appointment which we were told would take about 2 hours. It took almost 5 hours! We live in Shawano and had no vehicle to use so had to depend on a friend to drive around for our errands. I understand that you were running behind but maybe you should have not overbooked. We have always been very satisfied with Bergstroms service but this was very inconvient.

Good job on the oil change. Got me in and out. My only complaint was that they opened the glove box to check the cabin air filter and they dumped a bunch of stuff on the floor and didn’t pick it up

They do their best to get my vehicle completed on time. Although they were really backed up with vehicles in need of repairs, they did get my truck out the next day.

My appointment was for 9am, but we arrived about 25 minutes early, and we were serviced right away. We actually got out with everything finished and paid for before 9am which was my original.service time. Made.it quick and convenient for me. Great service!

Service consultant Stephen Littrell He took care of me like this brother he treated me like a person not a number and watch my truck like he own it. The engine Tech did excellent job to get me back on the road.

Charged 4 rotation of tires even though 1 has a nail and is unpatchable. I will now need to buy at least 2 tires now anyway. Should not have went through with this service or checked with me. Computer for oil percentage wasn't reset either.

I had an 845 am appointment to receive 4 new tires, no alignment. When scheduling this I was told 1.5 hrs. At drop off, I was told 3 hrs to possible early afternoon ready time. Which made me wonder why? What was the purpose of my 845am appointment? I received no updates while my vechile was “in-service”, I called to check in on my vechile at 12:45pm (3 hrs after my appt time). At that point Jacob told me my vehicle hadn’t even been started yet and would be a bit yet. This is unacceptable; I appropriately scheduled this appointment to allow school drop off and plenty of time for my car to be complete to be picked up and get my children after school. Jacob proceeded to tell me he would see if he could get it moved up & see if he could have it ready for 2:00pm pick up; which I told him was cutting it very close for me. I did not receive a call back to know if this speed up was in process. I called back again 1:40pm; in which Jacob stated he had “found a technician and had him jump on my tires right away”, it was ready for pick up. I arrived at 2:00 pm to pick up my vehicle and checked out with Jacob. Upon walking to my vechile; I noticed my rims were never wiped clean of the grease/residue from putting the new tires on. Super disappointed in the overall service. The purpose of an appointment is to be serviced at that time. I had no alignment scheduled; my tire appointment could have easily been an hour at most.

Tonya was wonderful from start to finish. I loved that I was able to begin the purchase online and finish everything (other than signing and picking up the truck) from the comfort of my own home. Tonya was prompt and clear with her communication, making the entire process pain free.

My oil change was on time and went smoothly.

I went to Bergstrom's to try out another vehicle. This was my 5th and last tryout, as I purchased a 2025 TRAX that day. I met with Shawn, and he spent quite a long time with me, explaining all the features and the dashboard. Shawn exerted very little pressure to buy and was easy to work with to make my decision. I brought my vehicle in to have new tires put on and an oil change and tire rotation plus they looked at my brakes, checked them out and checked for leaks in my windows and did a very thorough job they explained everything to me and my wife very thoroughly and made sure we understood and answered all of our questions with a smile

Good experience, the oil change and tire rotation was completed faster than I expected it to be done.

Typical oil change no problems with that, but when they did the inspection they missed a burnt out head light and when I said something about it I was told that they probably didn’t have any in stock.

I am from Sturgeon Bay and was not real thrilled on traveling all the way to Appleton for my first maintenance visit, but after going there I would definitely return.
